Hi,

After a few days trying out combinations of buttons, switches ans so on, I finally succeeded opening the hatch of the Apollo CSM ;). Now, the problem is getting out... I've tried the E key on the keyboard, which seems to work in 99% of all spacecraft, except this one :(. What do I have to do? The CM has so many buttons, I sometimes get lost in it...
Please help me. Thanks in advance,
timmy376.

By the way, I'm trying to do this all in the Apollo 7 - Quickstart mission.

Reminds me to find out how expensive it would be printing the Apollo 7 flight plan in the capitalist copy shops...

Sorry, but did they actually do an EVA on Apollo 7? As its NASSP id check the manuals there is usually about 25 buttons to press and click before anything actually happens :D

Oops... Apollo 9 should be able to do an EVA, let's check it :-)

Well, at least not with the E key... Any suggestions?

I had the Apollo 17 flightplan printed in such a copy shop -> 35 Euros

Regarding the EVA "problem", I'll check it.

Yikes, that is Almost 5 times more than I would have paid on university, but they changed the printer usage policy lately... you still pay for it, but are not permitted to do private stuff on them.

To answer the original question, no, there's no possibility to do a CSM EVA with Project Apollo - NASSP 7 Beta, sorry.

I remember looking at Staples for printing prices, and 120 pages of printout (corresponding to the MA-6 flight plan) would cost 7,20 Euro. The Preliminary Apollo 7 flight plan with 278 pages would be 16,68 Euro. For the 618 Pages of the Apollo 17 Flight Plan, they'd take 30,90 Euro.

I remember reading (on Wikipedia I think), that it had been planned to have the crew don their suits and bleed the capsule atmosphere as a EVA preperation test, but to keep the door shut. This was later dropped.

Another bug, which I noticed : at a point during the orbit insertion checklist, I lost all three fuel cells, likely when I switched the react valve switch from latched to norm, but I am not sure yet. I noticed the lack of electrical power when a MA did not happen, which I expected. When I tied the battery buses again into the main buses, the whole mess became visible. Will have to try it again some time later today, to replicate the bug.

Thanks for testing. If it happens again, it would be great if you can provide a scenario saved when this happend for easier diagnostics.

OK, hope in future versions there will be
Sure, at the lastest when we support Apollo 9 . :)
