Rather a Volkswagen, when looking at its capabilities. The F-16 is a good, small and rather cheap allrounder, but no "sportscar" of a fighter-bomber. That role belongs currently to the F-15E in the USAF. And the F-22 would be the Bugatti of a fighter... large, fast, with luxurious equipment - and far too expensive.

T'is an awesome beast - saw one at an airshow this year, wouldn't want to be an Observer in one though

My favourite has to be a toss up between the F4 Phantom and the Sea Harrier (to be fair any Harrier is awesome - I watched the last launch of a Harrier from HMS Ark Royal a few weeks back: amazing sight and sound!)
