News Felix Baumgartner, 23 miles balloon jump.

The live broadcast of the event is starting again:

There's a shot at 9:00AM MDT, as 700 feet winds will probably be in range. MCC Roswell wants to wait before filling the balloon up for more data.

The balloon is being inflated.

Countdown was reset

Pretty impressive that he does not want to use diapers for that flight. Well, its only three hours, but three long hours.

Does he have a camera attached to his suit :) ? Or maybe the telescopes can provide the video.

Darn this is exciting !!

In case you are not able to access ServusTV in Germany, N-TV also has a pretty good coverage of the event so far. The moderator is a bit unprepared, but the guests in the studio so far offset this good enough.

The fogging on the visor of his helmet reminds me on something... should this happen? It feels wrong to see it.

inside temperature is fixed on 13.5°C / 54.4°F, as redbullstratos.com live data-back.

I think that there is a law here, just the same as the one concerning the cat always landing on its feet, or that one of the buttered toast that always land, it, on the... buttered side: the desire grow in inverse proportion to the distance wich separates us from the... toilet.

edit: to note that this law stops applying when the door of such a capsule stays blocked.:(
