I managed to fly Apollo 11 successfully. Of course, It wasn't without autopilots.
I had a few failures, like the ascent autopilot failing. I managed to fix that.
The sound of splashdown was probably the most satisfying sound I have ever heard.
Off-topic: If you were wondering where I went, I started studying physics more and more until I could put the Space-shuttle in orbit. I managed to do that, too.

Thanks. You know what? I'm going to try to go to Mars. No, not by using an DGIV or an XR2. I am going to try to go to Mars with upgraded Apollo vessels. I can picture it now.
It's not going to end well.

I could imagine the Apollo Lunar Module in a deep Mars crater and the pilot turns to the commander.
''You couldnt see the looming crater when we were landing?'':P

The problem is that the LM would burn up.
TOASTY!
