Oh, man. I liked O'Keefe.

Well, nothing says you have to say *liked* yet. There were five fatalities and four survivors, and it's not yet publicly known if he was among the dead.

I hope he is well, he is one of my favorite administrators and one of those who had the toughest tour of duty, since he was responsible during STS-107. He is really one of those few administrators, who can claim to have really done the best they can.

Former NASA Administrator Sean O'Keefe and his son have survived the plane crash in Alaska last night that took life of former Sen. Ted Stevens.

But former Sen. Ted Stevens died.

It is still unfortunate that there were deaths, but I am glad that he and his son survived.

While I didn't agree with some of the things he did during his tenure as NASA admin (ie, cancellation of HST-SM4) I'm absolutely THRILLED that he and his son survived. He's a great man, served his country proud during the STS-107 tragedy. RIP Ted Stevens.
