Hardware Fonts display problem

I updated my graphics drivers to the latest ones and now have a problem with fonts not being displayed properly, also theres a dramatic drop in frame rate from 40fps to 20 fps.

Ive checked the DX9 advanced tab and tried all the font display options and tried different resolution fullscreen and window mode, and also tried all possible options on the graphics control panel.

My only option at the moment is to rollback to the old drivers.

The graphics are Radeon ATI x1200 series (integrated graphics).

I guess a graphics card update is the only answer?

Hi Qapla!
I had similar problem with my ATI Radeon HD 4350 when I updated drivers on one ocasion..
I had broken textures in d3d9 and in some games..
Update later it fixed it..
So this may or may not be same problem but try to wait for new driver or roll back..

Thanks but sadly the latest drivers are the last ones to be made so I had to rollback to old drivers. It sounds like a problem with ATI only. I had the same issue with another ATI card.
