Idea Free Moving Camera

My apologies again, I though it was 0.01x, so it is 0.1x. What ever the slowest time compression you can use is the best option for orbital velocities. The fly-by of vessels in Lunar orbit works better because your orbital velocity is much less than around the Earth.

I know, they always look cool. I love watching them when I'm in orbit with the arrow! :speakcool:

Wow thanks everyone for the help. BTW ships in orbit go realy fast especially when you burn for 50 years straight :)

The result is called hyperbolic orbit in most cases...

It makes a good reminder of just how fast satellites go, though, when they flick past three quarters of a kilometre in a tenth of a second.

I love to do that during a rocket launch. At liftoff, you find that the rocket is closing awfully slow from the camera... Then the rocket gains speed at the point you hardly have the time to see it coming

Very interesting to "feel" the acceleration, and to get an idea how fast all those things fly !
