Free picture-in-picture video editor?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone here know of a free video editing program which allows you to overlay one video onto another? For example, if I wanted to add a small webcam video in the upper corner of my main video? Movie maker doesn't do it. I have searched for a long time now, and can't find anything which will let me do this. Maybe I'll have more luck here?

Kdenlive, which is Open Source, for example allows that, but I don't think the KDE for Windows includes it, so you would probably need to try compile it from sources (it requires Qt, ffmpeg, perl and mlt libraries).

I saw picture in picture capability but I don't know if it works with multiple video sources.

If you mean doing it in real-time while you grab your main video (like in blixel's videos for example), i don't know.

But it can be done in post-processing with a combination of Virtualdub and Avisynth.
