Question GEP Crash

I have install GEP Galieo with Earth 1975,but when i loading it crash.It seems that i miss some files.Here is the log.

Hi,
the version of Galileo on Orbit-Hangar has a few errors.

You can edit the scenario vessel entry to read:
STS-34:Atlantis (not STS-34:ShuttleAtlantis)
but you may need to tweak attachment points etc., the missing textures shouldn't cause a CTD.

Or grab the "Grand Explorations Pack(Fixed Version)" from avsim.com

This is one of my favourite missions to fly in Orbiter, which I've been planning on revisiting for a while (but haven't got around to yet!) - all the fun of a Shuttle flight plus an interplanetary mission, swingbys etc. and an atmospheric probe to deploy.

There was a post from the GEP guys that they were going to update this add-on at some point, but no news for a while. It's a great add-on but I guess it could use a makeover for Orbiter2006.

Thanks BrianJ ! And can it install with Space Shuttle Ultra? Once i install it with SSU,it didn't work well.How can i edit the files?
Finally i have a question with the GEP-Cassini .When i launch the cassini ,the rocket didn't work well.I started the engine but the rocket flew out of the solar system instantaneously.Can you tell me what's wrong?

apologies to bump an old thread, but im having similar difficulty with other pack - namely the voyager 1&2 scenario. is there any other place i can loacte these files or do I really need to make an account on avsim?

the GEP packs are rather out of date, and some rely on additional "scenery" add-ons that I'm not sure are available any more. You could try the Voyager 32nd Anniv. add-on:

Thanks Brian. Sadly, I've tried this one and get the exact same message. To be safe, I installed all of the GEP pack addons in the hopes the meshes were somewhere. However, I get little or no luck on any of them. If I even knew what these meshes were from or what addon they supposedly belong to l, I might be able to find it, but the titles aren't very descriptive.

Am I missing some ridiculously obvious addon? I have multistage, the GEP pack, space shuttle ultra, project Apollo, amso, Vostok, Soyuz, ISS, Mir (notice a pattern)... And of course DGIV as well.

if you can post your orbiter.log, that's the best place to start tracking down problems.
But I just had a quick look at the old [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=480"]GEP - Voyager Ver 1.3[/ame]
and it doesn't take too much tweaking to get it working in Orbiter2010-P1:

1. The GEP packs depend on the Earth_1975 scenery add-on, but it causes pretty bad conflicts with default KSC, due to the way Orbiter bases are now defined. So, I'm not going use Earth_1975.

2. Unzip Voyager.zip to a new separate folder, so you can find all the bits without looking through all your Orbiter folder stuff.

3. Edit the Scenario file
Open up the scenario file and change the line "System Sol_1975" to "System Sol".
For each Titan, change the line "FUEL 1.000" to "PRPLEVEL 0:1.000 1:1.000 2:1.000 3:1.000 4:1.000 5:1.000"

4. Edit the Config files
Look in the Config folder and edit the .cfg files.
Change the line "Module = spacecraft" to "Module = spacecraft3"
or change the line "Module = multistage" to "Module = multistage2"

5. Copy/paste or drag/drop all the voyager Config,Meshes,Scenarios,Textures,etc. folders into your Orbiter folder.

6. Make sure you have spacecraft3.dll and multistage2.dll installed in Orbiter.

7. Start Orbiter, select voyager launch scenario and adjust Titan lat/long with scenario editor as required. Launch!

Any good?

Usonian's Voyager 32nd Anniv. add-on is probably a better way to go, but I don't know much about the VelcroRockets stuff.

Thanks for the ideas, this got me to a point im loading the scene, but now I spawn in 1 AU from earth, and if i go into scenario editor to put the spaceship on the Cape, I get a CTD.
 
can you post the orbiter.log after the crash?
 
It's cool, I have it working now on 2010p2. Just not p1. Go figure right? Now to see if venera and the rest of the GE pack can be persuaded :)

Ok so I haven't been able to launch venera 9 scenario but the others now work great. I'm on my phone at the moment but I'll attach an orbiter log dump as soon as I can - any preliminary ideas off the top of your heads that might help get it up to date?

Also, and it's not a big deal, but the voyager, Viking pioneer and mariner probes all hover on top of pad 5 instead of sit at LC. Any ideas on repositioning them?
