Problem Graphic problem with Orcus Patera Base

Windows XP. DX9. NOT DX9 Client. Orbiter 100830.

I downloaded and installed Well and Dansteph's Orcus Patera Base, plus the new Deltaglider IV and Orbitersound 4.0. I also have the latest UMMU.

Problem: The landscape and most of the buildings do not appear. I just get featureless ground, some pads and the dome. Any help would be appreciated.
 
Orcus Patera was designed to be runned with the D3D9 Client, but if you have a decent computer, it should run perfectly fine on the inline client too.
Can you post us the content of the Orbiter.log file?

Clearly there is an error here, but I don't know how to fix it.

I tried that client on a copy of my Orbiter installation only to find quite a lot of problems and error messages. The game wouldn't run. I would rather not use the client yet, and I understand that it should not be necessary anyway.
 
The D3D9 client isn't necessary, but it shouldn't cause the program not to run.
Although you do need to creat a symbolic link for sound (and to the config subdirectory) but this can be done with a simple mouse click from the startup menu (video tab, advanced button)
