Hi everyone...
I have come back to Orbiter recently during the dead of winter, around Jan-Feb 2015. The 2010 version is wonderful, major kudos to the developers covering not just the main program, but all the wonderful add-ons which I am just learning about.
I last played the simulator during 2006, shortly after the birth of my second child. My baby son was a very bad sleeper, so to give my wife a break after a bad night, I was on duty from around 5am-7am until I needed to get ready for work. He liked to be bounced during which he could sleep, so I would swaddle him in a blanket and put him in my lap, and sit on one of those large inflatable balls. I found that I could reach out with my hands and use the computer, and still balance and bounce my son. My brain was usually too fried to try to work at that time, so I played Orbiter instead, and crashed a lot of Delta Gliders.
I am not sure why I stopped playing, but now I'm back...
My latest obsession in the last month with the simulator has been the KSC-WIN Speed Run challenge, which I intend next to create a post on in the Tutorials/Challenges sub-forum.
Greetings to you all!
