Alright... I promise, I have tried my hardest.

I had downloaded the DESCARTES Class DSV addon, and the update.

I Ran it through ar81's Orbiter Diagnostic figured out I needed the Celestium 3 addon (of course I knew that from reading the wonderful documentation)

Then ran it again, figured that I needed the LSTS stuff (also read from the documentation)

This part is kinda stupid, but here goes:
I had started the installation of DESCARTES Class DSV in a clean Orbiter, of course! So I figured that the documentation that told me to download the SSBB, I downloaded SSBB 4.0-4.1.

Houston we have a problem.

I knew that, it meant SSBB 2006, which I downloaded over the folder (SSBB 4.0-4.1 which I realize may be the problem, but not the whole problem)

Edit-->Fixed, without the SSBB 4.0-1 I still get the problem

So with all of those addons, I'm still getting this diagnostic...

Code:
Scenarios directory found: OK.
Meshes directory found: OK.
Config directory found: OK.
Base.cfg found: OK.
Vessels directory found: OK.

Any ideas?
(apart from the cape21.dds, I get that even with a clean install)

Yes.

1. Don't run any scenario files that define Cargo32.ini or Cargo33.ini.

2. Delete references in any scenario files to the same.

I recommend first removing the addons created by Greg that you have. Then, go to orbithangar, find all addons created by Greg, and download them in succession based on the date they were added.

You just need a re-installation of Greg's addons.

I would recommend downloading all of them, as they are all wonderful toys to play with. :)

I suppose there are probably more threads like this about my addons than anyone else's. Eveningsky's right that they are "cumulative" -- I try to indicate in the documentation what's required and what's not, but I have clearly missed some of the dependencies that give rise to these threads.

I really ought to go back and do a full cleanup of all these issues. One day, when I finish the whole series, I will. That'll be around 2020 ...

Hope this is a help for your full cleanup...probably scheduled for a Tuesday in 2020. ;) The link is to the M6 forum thread, where I originally made a comment on this issue.

I keep getting CTDs whenever I load any scenario with cargo and the CM.
...Looks like a texture and mesh is missing. Since it's not being reported by other people it may be something from another package that I don't have. If I strip all the cargo pods off the ship in the scenario it works OK.
I get the same, but consistently 3 min after I start any scenario with "Cargo 32" or "Cargo 33" listed. I delete these two from the scenario and it works just fine.

Do you have the original version previously installed? I believe it had something about installing it over the previous Descrates version.

Found it (Descrates_Upgrade_Readme) : "Requires Vinka's spacecraft3.dll and prior download of original DESCARTES addon."
Yes, I loaded the original first, and already had spacecraft3.dll. The problem is missing *.ini and *.msh files. Cargo 32 and Cargo 33 are missing from the following zip files (downloaded from OH):

DSV01
DSV45
LST06
LST08
Celestium301
BuildingBlocks2006

So the files exist somewhere in his addons, just no definite on which ones, I really wouldn't mind downloading all of them... They are some of the best addon's I think, Greg has a wonderful designing "eye" he makes these ships with technology that could exist in the near future. Oops, was that too much flattery? I do hope that it's not too space expensive, I was trying to fit this on a flash drive...

What??? School gets really boring sometimes!

And finding them won't be hard, just search GregBurch for Author and there they are in chronological descending order.

If I find the addon that has cargo 32 and 33 then I'll tell you... though it may be too late to fix the documentation.

I really do love your addons.:peace:

I found the files! The Cargo 32 and Cargo 33 files are in the BSP3.0 download.
