!Hello All, i'm a bit new to Orbiter but, i'm starting to know my way around. My problem seems to be that i can only get 1 sound or mp3 file to play when i'm in the sim. i've added some mp3's from some of the addons found at Orbit Hanger and have but them in my sounds/mp3 folder like the readme says but i don't see them listed in the ships HUD.
---------------------------------------------------------
In my left HUD window i have this:
---- VHF----
Com status: On
Com Mute: off (SHF-M)
Com volume: 5 (SHF-V)
Com Frequency: 120.100Mhz
Mem frequency: 120.100Mhz
Swap Com/Mem (SHF-S)
display frequency list (SHF-D)

---- Radar Sound ----
Proximity radar : Off (SHF-R)

---- MP3 ----
1 MP3 available in playlist
MP3 status: playing
1-calm-spaces

----------------------------------------------

I only hear what seems to be a default (calm-spaces)song that may me from the Orbiter Sound 4.o.( that was one of the recommended addons. However I can't seem to find the playlist with calm-spaces listed on it anywhere. Can someone please help me with this?.. DC

Rename the file orbitersound_playlist.m3u on the directory Sound/mp3 to something else.

When OrbiterSound finds this file, it ignores the directory contents and plays only what's listed in the playlist (winamp format).

On the other hand, you could edit the playlist using some playlist editor (as WinAmp!).

The advantage of using the playlist is that you don't have to copy your mp3 to the Sound/mp3 directory, the playlist will play the files no matter where they are.

!Thank You Lisias, Thank You and Thank's.

I just renamed it, To test, I launched a Delta Glider in Orbit scenario to get a cockpit view and to my amaziment my 1st mp3 listed on the mp3 folder started playing. I was also able to select the other mp3's that I placed in the mp3 folder and that selector now works. I only wish that the creator of OS4.0 would have mentioned that in the readme.
I'd installed Winamp yesterday I got the mp3's to play in the background but not from the Delta Glider HUD window. Thank's to Your reply my sound stuff is now working.
Thank You again...DC...

SOLVED......
