I was thinking of creating new textures for orbiter to make it look a little more realistic. Does anyone have any suggestions on which one's I should start doing first.
What do you really mean by 'Orbiter textures'? If you're talking about planet (surface) textures, there are a plethora of high quality textures available (see this, and this)
Else, if you're talking about texturing spacecrafts, a repaint kit is available for the [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3710"]XR2[/ame]. Plus, the DGIV seems to offer something similar. Unfortunately, no realistic spacecraft offer such a thing, so you might need to convert the appropriate DDS file to get a base UV map.
I recommend joining the elite squad of celestial-body-texture-creators. It takes a bit of practice but it's actually kind of fun once you get used to it.
What I'd personally like to see are higher resolution textures for Neptune and Triton. I tried at those but epicly failed because I'm not too good with blues and light reds.
