:hello:

This game is fantastic no doubt and I am glad I've found it. I was previously wondering whether there exist free alternative to FSX, something more simpler perhaps, but then I stumbled on Orbiter. This is what I exactly need, my computer spec is not that high and I'm playing on a laptop (with numpad thankfully). I immediately downloaded it and played it, for hours and hours. The physics really blows me away and increases my motivation at the same time as I'll be taking physics major in the university.

It is so amazing when you try to approach the ISS and after careful maneuvering you finally hear that big clanking sound of DGIV. I tried then to do re-entry but failed two times because I don't close all of the doors properly. At the third try I finally managed to land at Wideawake without even destroying a gear and in night time!

I'm definitely going to try on the modding side of Orbiter. I'm also very interested in trying Orbiter with DX9 and newer graphics engine. The game certainly has a lot of potential and maybe after Gravity. who knows, there might be more new users rushing in to try the game.

Is it just me, or is there a spike of new Orbinauts this month?

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Maybe it's because of Gravity. Certainly it's raised popular interest in space again.

Welcome to the O-F community!

BTW the DG IV has its checklists in the computer. Press d and then 6 on the keypad, here you can find all the checklists. Also you can do it manully on the lower panel. By pressing d you can also find usefull information.

Happy Orbiting!
