Well, sort of near Vandenberg (I actually live in San Diego to be honest).

Anyway, while I'm not new to Orbiter 2010 (I first started playing with it when Orbiter 2010 was recently released in 2010), my interest has been resurged into this simulator and now I'm going to learn beyond my comfort zone.

I don't even know how to dock with the ISS.

Anyway, nice to meet you all. We should :hailprobe:

Learning is part of the fun. If you count banging a forhead onto the desktop until figuring out how to do "simple" tasks like; docking to the ISS.

But then, the first time you hear that "Boom! click-click-click-click-click" noise, the feeling is so very very rewarding.

Welcome to the forums!

Docking with the ISS is not a simple task.

It's like trying to shoot a clay pigeon that is flying through the air with a pellet gun whilst standing on a rapidly moving truck.

:hmm: Skeet surfing, anyone?

Yep. Not to mention that "launching" isn't a simple task either. (Most add-ons are supplied with "P" launches or autopilot launches but some you have to do manually).

I think that interplanetary travel is even harder than docking though, which I hope to finally learn for myself.
