General Question Help Whit AMSO Texture Moon Look this video

hello Scruce I'm using the AMSO-506 starting from step 1

...I have in total 6 astronauts 3 in the LM and 3 in the CM...
Hmm 6 Astronauts are defenitely not a realistic configuration ;)
I'll try to reproduce this with some combinations of Orbiter Core packets, maybe it's just an incompatibility issue between AMSO 1.20 and the Orbiter-Core you are using...
Hang on a bit, I'll try some combinations and post my results...

Hi again,

here's my setup and results:

I've used the "Apollo 11 step 08" Scenario on those setups to run a quick test.
Orbiter Core|AMSO|Result|Notes
100606 | 1.20 | Not O.K. | incompatible (LightEmitter...)
100830 (Orbiter 2010 - P1)| 1.20 | O.K. |
  1. [J] to extract LM
  2. [M] to switch to LM
  3. [J] to activate LM
    • 1 Astronaut left in CSM
    • 2 Astronauts in LM
I have not activated any add-on, so maybe the problem is related to any additional add-on you've installed.

No not at all. I just tried to rule out things by doing the good old "step-by-step" approach ;)

No special programm is needed.
I just have enough space on my hard drive, so I normally have several Orbiter-Installations.
They work completely independent from each other.
So I set up a new folder (e.g. "C:\orbiter_test") extracted the Orbiter-Core ZIP and then extracted the AMSO ZIP. That's all.

The rest of your questions are over my head, sorry.
But you should do an analysis in the "step-by-step" method like I did.
Then it should be quite easy to find out what is responsible for the strange "6 astronauts" thing.
That of cause only works if you have still some space left on your hard drive ;)

By the way: In most cases you don't have to 'uninstall' add-ons. If you deactivate them in the "Modules" tab, they are (normally) completely disabled and should not cause further trouble.
There are of cause some exceptions to that rule, but that makes it more challenging

Cheers, Kuddel
