Help with OBSS and Truss Installations PLEASE???

Hello all and thank you for a wonderful forum. I will try to keep this as brief as possible. Although I have only been using Orbiter for about 2 months, (I have spent many long nights learning, practicing, and searching this forum), I am able to meet most of my objectives so far. I am running Orbiter with the addon STSExpPackV4.1.8R1KSC.zip and have downloaded and installed all of the addons named in the setup .pdf page 5.

My questions are:

1. I can grapple the OBSS but I cannot use the OBSS to grapple anything. Is the OBSS (once attached to the end of the SRMS or SSRMS) capable of grappling a payload? How is that done and what are the keyboard commands to control the OBSS?

2. I have been palying with the STS-115 scenarios and cannot find how to attach the P3/P4 truss system. I'm having the same questions with later scenarios like STS-118 and 119. What makes the truss attach to the ISS?

Thank you in advance for any help you may be able to give me. I am so hooked on this incredible simulator and really wish to overcome these hurdles. Thank you again!

The OBSS can't grapple anything (it can't in real life). It's a sensor system for inspecting the heat-shield on the shuttle.

The default ISS in Orbiter has docking ports to dock to, but no attachment ports. The P3/P4 truss has no docking ports, so can't attach to the default ISS. People (mainly mustard) have made addons that can attach to eachother to make up the ISS. There are threads on the forum to do it, but I haven't done it myself. If you are using the ISS fleet, then you can't attach the parts - you just have to 'cheat' and switch out of orbiter and replace the ISS model with the one for a specific configuration and 'pretend' you attached the module

Thank you. At least it explains that I couldn't do the things I was trying to do because they are not modeled. So, except for installing various nodes, etc, the missions are launching, docking with the ISS, and returning. Is that correct?
