The power supply in your emachines PC appears to be a standard size, so you should be able to find a replacement no problem. Here's a list for you to start with.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...58 113142556&bop=And&Order=RATING&PageSize=20

I'd pick one with a low price and good ratings, with a high number of ratings. For example, this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817170017

So as long as you have the proper slot in your board for that new video card you should be all good.

The PS you linked to is a full-size, ATX PSU. I'm not 100% certain, but your eMachine looks to me to have an mATX motherboard, but the case itself seems to accept a standard sized power supply. Best way to check for sure is to take out your crappy Bestec Power supply, find the data sticker, and it should have the unit's dimensions.

The one you linked to would be ok, but it might be a little too long in depth. Depending on what you have on the top-front side of the tower, it may get a little cramped. I think Standard sized power supplies are 3.4"(h) x 5.9"(w) x 5.5"(d).

Good call on updating your PS, btw. eMachines (and a lot of off-the-big-chainstore-shelf PCs these days) tend to come with an underpowered Bestec PS. You can get into trouble with a crappy PS in a hurry!

-----Edit

Been trying to find more specific info for your eMachine case, but even going right to the source doesn't help me out much. Your best bet, pull the old unit, look for that data sticker.

Wow, sorry, I totally did not see the link you posted to that power supply. Based on the specs I see, the Antec EA650 also appears to be a standard size power supply. It's a bit more pricey but should have more than enough for your purposes. It also got a great rating on Newegg, so that's a good sign. You could even grab a ruler and measure your current power supply (maybe turn the power OFF first) and compare it to the specs for the Antec, just to be sure it will fit.

it looks like it would fit... its about 1 inch deeper than the one i have. but my concern is will it fit in the back(will is screw in right) and will it work on my mother board.

the sticker that tells me how muck watts it can produce? that doesnt give me any dimensions
