Here is the new texture of the runway, it's base was made of concrete. In the archive file is runway2.dds, which should replace with default file in Textures directory. Waiting for your opinions.
Nice and high resolution, but a couple comments:
- Tire treadmarks shouldn't be uniform across the entire runway--they should be concentrated in two patches each a couple thousand feet from the ends of the runway, because that's where the airplanes touch down (which is what causes the treadmarks in the first place). - Markings on the runway are incorrect. Runway markings in the US are very standardized ([ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Runway"]Runway - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]). The real runway 33 at KSC is a good example: http://www.bing.com/maps/?v=2&cp=28....16&dir=0&sty=h
I know, but I'm using for a long time with such a system of signs and I will not change it, because it will mean a long job. It seems to me that the errors in the markings are not so blatant, so as not allowed to have fun in Orbiter.
