This will add a hidden base under a mountain in your scenario editor to allow deploy where you want.

http://www.keyzam.com/files/hiddenBase10_installer.exe
Orbithangar mirror: [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=4370"]Hidden Base 1.0[/ame]

Just download and install it in your orbiter main folder.

The base works with the 1 to 5 keys to open/close doors.

This is an early model but a start, when dan finish the UCGO i will define breathable areas, and some modules like rooms or things like that.

You can see the manual online in google docs http://docs.google.com/View?id=dhcphp4h_103gmmctgd7

Awsome base! Can you launch the space shuttle from there?

The base itself its a vessel kind mesh so you can put it anywhere also you can move it so the shuttle ramp match exactly where the big hole is. So when you open the top of the mountain you could launch the shuttle.

Also you can define the shuttle launch area in a scenario file.

Alright, I think I'll get it. Thank you for the info!

Wow that is a huge hangar! - I didn't really get the scale of it until I walked through it in a UMMU.
Now that I realise this I can see on the bottom picture of the documentation, right in the middle of the frame is an orange UMMU.

A little creative positioning sews it into the surface mesh of 90 Antiope quite nicely. However, the large footprint means that due to the tight curvature of the surface sphere, UMMUs fall right through the "floor" a relatively short way away from the center of the base, where they match the floor level. I wish Orbiter's collision wasn't limited to spheres...

I was gonna whine about it not having UMMU capability like the Prelude, but that can be solved by simply...adding a Prelude.
