Gaming Hielor's Minecraft Server

The self-destruct sign was there..but no lever at the time I got there. So I stuck a lever on the wall, and for some strange reason, the server took my ownership of it and now I can flip the lever but not remove it. O.o
 
I'm frustrated by the huge lava ocean in the nether right where I want to put my portal.

I felt that. :lol:

When ALPHA has matured a little, someone should make an obstacle course down there...complete with flaming ghastballs. :)
 
A few things about the new nether station's tree farm:
  1. When replanting, start from the side furthest away from the door.
  2. Keep harvesting, or the canopies will merge, and we will not get enough saplings to keep it going.
  3. Torches on cobble, trees on dirt. Its pretty simple really.
  4. There is an axe in the tools chest, and I will endeavor to see that there always is one.
 
My pit now has a two-way portal.

Meanwhile, my friend elmerfudddied is working on a glass house under the Nether lava ocean.

Apparently Minecraft hasn't heard of radiative heat transfer:

Right, 2 problems with the Nether research center:
1) about half the inside has caught/been set on fire somehow
2) the small platform and some of the front of the airlock was demolished by a direct hit from a ghast fireball. there's a full set of iron tools just outside the airlock if anyone wants them, I couldn't be bothered to go back and get them for the second time...
 
Looks like someone decided to use some Flint and Steel inside the research centre :blink: either that or they attempted to use a bed :lol:
 
If you sleep, you set a spawn point. If it was possible to set a spawn point in the nether, it would be possible to get stuck in the nether with almost no way out, as Ghast fireballs can disable and enable portals. That and the nether has no day/night cycle.
 
:huh: perhaps a redesign, if your coordinates are within the nether, the bed doesnt set a spawn point, if they are outside the nether, they set a spawn point. pretty simple im guessing
 
And besides, who wants to sleep in Hell? :lol:

I knew thew exploded (lots of fun in creative mode) but not that they lite fires. This makes it even more fun. :rofl:
