Gaming Hielor's Minecraft Server

On that note, Nick, are you actually going to do anything with that big cleared field that you griefed that building in? Because if not, I'm going to have to say that there's no reason for you to be claiming it all, given that your house is behind it and underground and completely unaffected.

As for my shack--as long as you don't completely prevent access to those tunnels I don't mind. Unlike Nick I'm not going to lay claim to land that I haven't done anything with and have no intention of touching.

I don't claim the field. I claim my front door :P

Then why did you move a building that wasn't interfering with your front door? You're not helping your case.

APDAF, it wasn't just the sign, it was a number of complaints I received from multiple members. In the case of Nick, the person who was directly affected requested that he not be banned, along with at least one other member.

Basically, if you cause problems, but the people you cause problems for say "no, that's okay, don't ban him" I won't ban you. If you cause problems and I can't find a single person to say anything good about you, then yeah, that's it.

Given that this is primarily intended to be a social thing for people, I don't really think there's a better way of doing it.

Ok, so as most of the things are already done I would like to do a public area, maybe a square dedicated to orbiter and a public Building (maybe a thermal complex with a temple). Is there a problem about doing it near the court house? Please tell me.

Im thinking that the flat area where I am doing the portic will be great for the square. I didnt realised that the red zone that I drawed contained some private areas so I apologize.

The area I want to construct is the red square near the court house, as seen in the image I posted before, and the flat area above this (where would be located the Orbiter's Square).

I am always open to ideas, but I would like to see them first.
I would want to see a plan and the same area marked out in game.

Based on those two conditions, I can inform you if you can proceed.

I personally would skip the Orbiter-Forum square and just build a bath house.

Ok, I have just marked the areas with sand in the server.

See image:
-Green circles: Hielor's constructions
-Violet circle: I dont know but there is something
-Area 1 : Maybe a Orbiter Temple with a little square
-Area 2 : Thermal Complex

This is only an idea, so if you think you have more ideas tell them. :)

The Westmark proposal

Well, heeding Hielor's call to spread out, I immediately head west the moment I joined the server. And because I used to play on peaceful to avoid lagspikes caused by the whole Astley clan exploding, I embarked the journey to the peninsula with only wooden tools and some planks, resulting in me redoing it for about 4 times and lost a number of equipments

But then again, upon seeing the landscape from the dynamic map, I found that the great marshes of this area contains a lot of clays, so my plan is that after I get my humble abode up and running with a small house and a little farm, I'll start tycooning as a red brick cooker!

But then again another idea strikes me, why don't I try to build a town? I'm always more into building stuff than mining or exploring. For now though, my claim would be only the tip of the peninsula where my simplistic reed farm and hut is, it can take even a month just to gather material and build the castle, let alone a whole town. Although I might want to try to finish the industrial area first to make some bricks.

The town is planned to be done in Hanseatic Golden Age style, just like how Danzig is, and when it is done, the apartments will be open for anyone to use, just don't be greedy and claim more than one building, I hope that the town could be a resting area or a trading post between the commune, and the great western unknown, or the next settlement :)

Because this is a great and daring project, this might not be done at all, except for the tip of the peninsula and the red brick facility, therefore I don't lay claims other than plots over which I already put anything on

btw kudos if you can guess where the names came from :hailprobe:

Heh, look at myself. I made a boat, got some provisions and immediately went East hard until I found Kamina Island. I don't even have to think about other people out there. I'm a good ol' hermit.

I have found some wood and rock items in the construction area near the courthouse. Anyone knows from who it is? they were underground

If it was wood/cobble blocks beneath dirt, that's how I fill creeper holes.

Quick question: If I install the zeppelin mod for my ssp will it effect me being able to log into the server?

Any agreement regarding the Nether transit system?

I'm looking forward to some aerial bombardment of the villages on my ssp :D I read on their thread that they're working on a server version of it.

I recently completed an adventure map called the Tourist.

I have decided I will create a small adventure area beneath Kamina Island, stay tuned for details.

I think the zeppelin mod would be great for our server once its smp ready. We can make the shuttle take flight :)

Agreed with that one. I can then dedicate all of my time to building an operable Normandy.

I thought we agreed on a vanilla* server.

Flats will be available at the CDY Tower. (Currently 5/15 are constructed.)

They'd go for 2 diamond apiece. Pristine view of the ocean and absolutely nothing useful for hundreds of metres in any direction. I'd like to commission a bridge and some development nearby...

LOL, just when I'm planning to turn the Leeuwenhoek into an apartment, this is what I've been tinkering about in Creative SP because of the connection problems

and it was tinkered from the original blueprint of the Leeuwenhoek, and it will only take another space as large as it is currently, so no worry about land shortage

and in the top floors, I'm planning to build a restaurant that everyone can come to and enjoy the view of the Commune
