OHM High-Res Asphalt Runway Texture

I present to you my new concrete runway texture in high resolution. I maket it in Adobe Photoshop. To install this texture replace it with your runway2.dds in Textures directory.

Needs work on seams. Skidmarks are too big.

BTW have you tried landing a truck with broken brakes on this runway :hmm:

Yeah, I agree with Loru, it needs work.

Personally, I like it, but the skid marks are what hinder me from hitting the download button. Could you remove them, or make them more distanced from eachother?

Ditto, yellow chevrons prohibit use of runaway for either takeoff or landing.

About one moment I make update. I removed the stitching effect there, but the signs ofbraking are there intentionally.

It's a lot better, but the black skid marks are just to abundant. Try spacing them out a bit, otherwise they just look unnatural.

I replaced the dds file like Adam instructed, but all I got was a white strip replacing all my runways. Did I do something wrong?

you most likely needed to change a line in the base.cfg.

I have the same problem here...... Runway2 already exists in Base.cfg :shrug:

And can you tell what graphics card and Orbiter version do you use? I will try to locate the source of the problem, because it may be, for example, in the way of converting the texture to the *. Dds, but I need to know your parameters to say, and throw in a moment here on the forum with a different version of the conversion, and see if this version will you be properly displayed. If so, I'll update the OHM.

I have the 2010-p1 version of orbiter and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5400 series...
I tried a fresh instalation of orbiter and the Runway works perfect.... But in my old instalation i cant add any runway..... i even tried to copy the texture folder and base.cfg from the working (new) instalation and the runway is still missing..... even the default runway.... for sure this is not caused from any other addon because i havent installed any for a while..... I think i have to download everything again for the new orbiter instalation (MFDs, Bases, Ships) :facepalm:
