I was wondering if we will see a Vostok, Soyuz ect. interior in the near future.

Don't have to be a virtual interior, but even like the one for the Gemini would be nice.

Interiors really add to the immersion factor:speakcool:.

There have been tons of threads about this sort of stuff, Red October project is touching on it, i believe that a Vostok addon had a sort of control panel. But i can guarantee that there will be Soyuz and Vostok, Voskhod panels in the near future.

I believe you mean October Sky, not Red October, but that has been put on hold indefinitely for another project.

So in the meantime I've been working on a Soyuz TMA with interior (I happen to have been working on it when I decided to check the forum and found this thread.). The modelling is nearly finished, so I'll put it into Orbiter soon then learn the API so I can make it more interesting.

This shows remarkable faith in the commitment of Orbiter developers...

Ah, really?

I too have been thinking the Soyuz TMA add-on could use some improvements. Such as better re-entry module mesh, different-looking solar panel, improved DLL, better RM re-entry characteristics...etc.

And you're working on an interior. Maybe, while we all wait for October Sky, we strive for an "interim" Soyuz TMA?? I'm willing to put in some labor here, if you'd like to collaborate. ;)
