Advanced Question How do I put an object in the payload bay of the space shuttle with scenario editor?

As the title says i cant figure out how to lock an object into the payload bay before i launch the space shuttle. Im trying to create some mission scenarios for shuttle fleet but i just cant get the payload to stay in the payload bay. Thanks for the help.

I've tried grabbing my payload with the RMS, but the RMS can't be operated inthe upright position for a space shuttle launch.

I cheat and attach the Universal cargo deck to my vessel. You can really cheat and do rediculious things or you could just put the load where it should be and expect it to stay.

where do I find the manual its not in any of my orbiter folders?

The Shuttle Fleet manual is a PDF file contained within the zip file you donwloaded. It is also copied to the "add-on docs" folder in your orbiter installation.
Do a search on your PC for "shuttle" within the orbiter installation folder. That will find it.
