The great State of Confusion
I have noticed in various tutorial videos that the spacecraft in the video always starts off on a runway. When I go to the required scenario in my program and run the scenario, I always seem to start up out in the grass/ in a field, somewhere away from the runway. Is there a setting to make sure when I open a scenario, my glider/craft starts on the runway and not far away in the weeds?

Thank you for the help.:tiphat:

Use the scenario editor to edit your latitude and longitude, or use the quickstart scenario which has vessels on pads and runways.
Cheers

Thank you for the quick comeback, however, I am new (about 3 days now) to this program and I have no idea where to find the utilities you mention. Please let me know where to find them. Thank you

On the orbiter launch pad find the "modules" tab and enable "ScnEditor". Start up a scenario, preferably one with a vessel landed on Earth, press F4 then press "custom" then "Scenario Editor" click the Vessel you wish to put on the pad/runway click "edit" then "location" and edit it from there. Here's the lattitude longitude and heading of a DG (Delta Glider) (it won't affect anything I just mentioned the vessel type for the heck of it) on a runway at KSC.

Longitude: -80.682566
Latitude: -80.682566
Heading: 330.192206

Happy Orbiting!
