Pls I need help with the scenario HST to KSC. I already launched the shuttle, rendevous with the HST, and have captured it with the RMS Arm. Now the problem is: How do I stow it in the cargo bay, so I can carry it back to KSC on earth. Anyone with any info?

I would say:

stow everything on Hubble, then place it in the cargo bay, press the capture button, done?

Thanks for your response. I'll try what you said.

I'm sorry, what you said did not work. After capturing hubble, I brought it into the cargo bay. But on the RMS dialog box, virtually all the buttons (stow, arrest) were inactive, and I could not even click them. Only the release button was active. And when I just released the satellite, so I could stow the RMS arm, the satellite began to drift away from the shuttle, and out of the cargo bay. Pls what else can I do to make it stowed?

I have another thread addressing this same issue. http://orbiter-forum.com/showthread.php?t=19266 If a moderator wants to delete mine its ok. I wasnt aware of the content of this one. Im pulling my hair out trying to do the same thing. I have turned HST in many many directions and orientations but the "arrest" button will never become active. Im beginning to think that HST cannot be stowed in the shuttle.

/me was forced to edit the savefile, however I was doing LDEF return, not HST.

When I captured LDEF, it would not be berthed in the PLB, so I attached LDEF within the PLB and then reloaded the save and de-orbited the Shuttle to KSC.

That worked Great! Now I see that I had HST way out of position in the PLB as you can see in the screenshots. The first shot is how I was attempting to stow it. The second shot shows the correct position. Now I will go back and do it correctly. Thanks Wishbone :tiphat:
