I'm new to this nice forum and I hope that I posted my question into the right section. Otherwise feel free to move it.
So, I would like to know how many drift and phasing revolutions the Space Shuttle and ATV usually does on orbit to reach the first stop point and further stop points before docking to ISS.
I had a look in some books and into the internet and I found that they do it, but I couldn't find numbers how often that is done. There is a limited amount of them because of maximum mission time of course, but I want to calculate/simulate it and would like to have "reasonable" numbers for it.
Perhaps some of you know it.
