how to add textures to your addon ships?

I have done the tutorial on how to create an orbiter add-on, the mesh works but every time I try, there is no texture on anything! Can someone tell me how to fix it?

Did you convert texture image to dds format and put tham into texture folder?

Not sure but I think it could be some sort of Anim8or issue or a conversion issue. More details on what you do and when it is not working would be of some use.
