I am using a laptop and it does not have a numpad, how can the ummu be controlled to go forward and backward?

There's a button up in the right corner called Num Lock. If you press that with the "Fn" in the bottom left corner, the buttons J, K, L, U, I, O, 7, 8, 9, 0 and more turn into the Numpad. It's the same thing with all spacecrafts.

I'm having the same problem. Only difference is my computer doesn't even have a numlock key. I guess HP just forgot.

Try pressing the keys asbjos mentioned while holding the Fn key, if it exists.

This should do it: [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=4473"]Virtual NumPad[/ame]

I would just buy a USB keypad. Remapping or messing with funky pseudo-keypads via the J, K, L, U, I, O keys can't possibly be worth the trouble when $7 USD will get you a real keypad. IMHO.
