Flight Question How to know the target inclination from correct heading?

Hello

I´m using the Delta IV autopilot and transX. Before the launching, the MFD has a entry that tell me the correct launch azimuth but the option in the Delta IV autopilot is only for the target heading.

Someone can help how to solve this, please?

Do you need to know the correct heading for the minimum deviation from the target orbital plane available?
 
Launch heading together with launch latitude define the orbital inclination (in the equatorial frame of reference)

The formula was pretty simple:

[math]\cos{i} = \cos{\Phi}\sin{\beta}[/math]

with i being inclination, Phi being latitude and beta being heading (0=north)

Well, if PHI is 45 deg. and Beta is 30 deg., cos i will be 69deg.?

(i´m not good in numbers...)

V2/2 x 1/2 = V2/4 = 0,353
cos i = 0,353
then, cos i is aprox. 69 deg??
 
Sounds about right.
