How to revert back to Mars Level 8

Hi there,
Can anyone help...I downloaded Mars Level 10 and it seemed to work fine, until I got about 2,000 kms from the planet, and then it crashed to desktop....so I'm assuming it is a problem with my graphics card....can anyone tell me how I can get back to level 8, as this was OK before...and I could even get a camera view of Olympus base...so it must have been a problem with level 10....any suggestions would be grateful...Thank you

I think the level 10 Mars textures require the level 8 textures. Do you have that installed? Sounds like it's crashing because it can't find the level 8 textures when it needs to load them.

Method 1: In Config/Mars.cfg, set MaxPatchResolution to 8.

Method 2: Delete all files relating to Mars in the Textures2 folder, but keep the ones in the Textures folder.

which mars level 10 are you trying? I've had it successfully working and I use a pretty old graphics card. low framerates, but I don't mind. I'm quite experienced with problems relating to installing add-ons like planets, or any addons, actually. maybe I can help
