I wonder if there are any better way (than using Quicksave) to save the current mission with all parameters left in tact and all the MFD´s etc used? Quicksave only seem to save the mission at the time you want. If I run into problems and need to restart due to malfunction of the Orbiter sim, I have to start from scratch opening up all the necesary MFD´s etc etc.

I have this problem that cause my keyboard input to stop working and sometimes makes the mouse cursor to disappear. It´s quite annoying since I have to "rewire" the whole scene again with all MFD´s, camera positions and so on.

To alleviate stress from Orbiter crashing, you could use [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=2693"]AutoSave Module[/ame].

Thanks. I have AutoSave. Even though I can save an ongoing mission it takes a lot of time to set up and rewire after a crasch, and it's annoying when this happens 2-3 times (at worst) during a 10 minute period.

I havent figured out why this is happening (mouse cursor disappear). Looks like it might be mission related. It happens quite often during Shuttle/Iss missions with a lot of objects and a lot of MFD´s etc.

Loosing keyboard and/or mouse control is a known problem when switching focus away from orbiter. Especialy while loading a scenario.
Could this be the case with your problem?

If you don't like using quicksave, you can save the current state using the cleverly labled "save" button in the scenario editor...
Just like it says in ScenarioEditor.pdf in the base install.

I run Orbiter in windowed mode which seems to reduce but not eliminate this.

I havent noticed that if changing focus is causing this error. It seems to coincide with shuttle fleet and iss in 9 out of 10 cases.

I'll try out the save option in the scenery editor.

I'm using windowed mode and still have this problem. I wonder if it could have anything to do with me using two monitors?

Thanks for the suggestions and help
