Question How to Use Anim8or to Make Object

I am thinking of beginning to make models for spacecraft for people to code functions into. A goal of mine, is to make a spacecraft to Mars, to name Voyager. I have the ideas sketched out. How exactly do I use Anim8or to create circular designs?

I can't get the side one for the airplane to work, handicapping me...
