I spend a lot of time flying around and landing at different bases on the moon.
One item I have noticed is the HUD isn't really designed for vertical flight.
This really isn't surprising sense the HUD was designed for an aircraft.
However while landing on the moon or any other body without an atmosphere your flight is more like a helicopter then a plane.
One of the main items is you only have a 40 degree sweep if that +20 to -20.
Problem is most of the time you are outside of those parameters.
SO having a MFD or having a HUD mode that would follow your velocity vector would be great, perhaps a change of color if the Orientation is behind you.
Just wondering what other people think about the Issue.
