Hello everybody!

It's my first post here and English isn't my native language but I'll do my best.

So, I have a problem using AeroBrakeMFD. I'm trying to complete a mission "Mir to Earth", but i can't reenter. I select the target base, then pick the AoA such as G less then 6, (it's AoA about 60'-90' i think it's normal). A click to AoA autipilot button on MDF and on Bank button. MDF holds my params (AoA 56.4' Bank 0.262). Than averything is ok until u reach 80km alt. Autopilot seems not to work, ship is turning up and down. It ricochet from atmosphere and everything is ok again untill next reaching the atmosphere. After many attempth i loose the control and have a crash.

I tried it about 20 times with various parameters and never gets even close to the target.

I don't have installed any additional modules.

I should take it kindly if anybody gives me a replay showing using of AerobrakeMFD.

You have to pick such descent profile that your reentry angle should be near 1 degree (it's approx. 40 degrees AoA). And I've never used Aerobrake autopilot, it's better to make it manually. I can explain the whole thing in Russian if you want, just write me on private.

You could use th DGIV or the XR vessels because they have an attitude autopilot. The bove mentioned tutorial from oceanic is good. And also this is helpfull: [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3428"]Tutorial: Concepts for atmospheric reentry[/ame]

Thanks everybody for answering!

Finally I do it (re-entry and successful landing) but without using AeroBrakMFD. I adjusted my orbit to place it over the Base, then perform a braking burn lowering my PeA to ~6500. Then (thanks PeterRoss for advice) I start braking performing left and right turnings to decrese my speed. I stoped burning at 30km alt and 180km before base and finally successful land without using ever vrol/vitrol/hsi.
