I was looking profusely for something like this. I'm so glad that Martin got the idea to do this :D

I live in australia and im studying bch of audio engineering, lately though the stars have been on my mind.

I started by getting the telescope and going to parks late at night to do some observations, the first time I saw saturn through that thing it was amazing! and only fueled my interest :p I've been a big fan of microsoft flight simulator and i've played it for years. This was something else though and it was awesome! and after tedious hours of reading the manual along with go play in space and other tutorials, i finally managed to launch from Kennedy and dock with the ISS.

i'd like to build a space ship one day, its not that difficult if you think about it, just need that new form of propulsion to show up somewhere. my bets on electromagnetism

nice to meet you all

:welcome: to Orbiter-Forum! congratulations on the docking

:welcome: to OF. Im from Australia too.
If you do end up making a space ship be sure to let us know.
OF will go nuts over that kind of thing.

Darren

:welcome: to the OF and congrats on your succesful docking:thumbup:

And of course don't forget to :hail::probe:

Welcome! I've managed to master traveling from a planet to a moon, but docking is still kind of annoying :P

Congrats on the docking! You certainly are off to a great start, and are learning quickly!*grumble*quicker than me*grumble* One of my Orbiter pals makes fun of my inability to rendezvous and dock, so your accomplishment is great! If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in the 'General Questions and Help' forum.

funny... i can rendezsvous and dock with relative ease by now.... but can't seem to do a proper interplanetary trip for the life of me :hmm:

guess there are pilots and there are pilots...

:welcome: to Orbiter-Forum!

You've gotten to your first station already...now aim for the Moon! And then Venus, and Mars, and Jupiter...It's endless.

Ohmygod, A new member who actually read the freaking manual!?
Kidding, kidding. :P Anyway you're off to a great start, cheers to that, and :hail::probe:!

:welcome: to the forum & congrats on the successful docking!
