One image worths more than one hundred words, so three of them...

I made a single testing mesh to work around a future virtual cockpit, just a solid glass a two spheres, to see how it works, but it's what I found:

No legs under a transparent glass :P

And, of course, no head.

Any clue about this problem? What am I doing bad?

I think this is related to the position of the vessel with transparency in the scenario file, have you tried moving it above or below the UMMU's entry in the scenario file? I think that should fix it but I could be totally wrong, it's worth a try though

Tested with focus on the object and on the Mmu. Also tested at different distances from the object. Simply I can't see the Mmu behind the glass.

One question, two balls and the glass part of the same object?

Yes, they are.

I want to say they are part of the same ship. In anim8or, they are separate solids in a same object.

I joined solids on anim8or.

The first image is "before" the Mmu walks behind the object, and the second, after the weird "eclipse". Note that the sphere and Earth are seen in all moment.

Wait a moment... I'm almost on the solution.

Then it shouldn't be this way, isn't it?

I tried with double sided transparent materials with no success at all. Let's see if other addon developer has the solution to the problem. I'm leaving till tomorrow.

Thanks and see ya.

This is an Orbiter limitation, there's nothing you can do. Orbiter doesn't render overlayed vertices of different vessels, and it doesn't check for transparency. You'll only see behind that glass what is contained in its mesh, and planets, but NO vessels. No solution possible currently.
