All insects should be that big because they wouldn't find a way into your house through any small crack, open window etc.

As long as there aren't giant mosquitos... They're already so gluttonous, they would suck out the blood from an entire limb. And squashing them would make such a mess.
I'm not sure how fast giant spiders would be, but, arachnids are another matter I suppose...
