Hello all!

I haven't played with Orbiter for a few years and I got curious today about the simulator so I showed up here to see what was going on. I tried playing with the new version of orbiter but found out that my Saitek, X56 flight stick has some rudder problems, so it makes playing orbiter impossible until I can afford to get a new stick. I had been unemployed for 3 years and finally just got another job!!!!

Orbiter 2010 looks really good, and I hope to be able to join all of you in the game play and discussion of this really awesome simulator.

Welcome back and congrats on your new job!

You don't need a joystick to play Orbiter. The only time I ever use my joystick is to rotate during take-off and final approach for landing. Use the XR2; with its autopilots you may never need a joystick! In space you never need it though. The numpad is your friend!
