Idea Image warping

After a long break from reading up on Orbiter development, I now have a chance to use orbiter in a new setting, a portable planetarium using a spherical mirror to project the image from the projector in the planetarium. But for that the image needs to be pre warped for better results, Stellarium offers that. Could it be possible in Orbiter ?

An external graphics client could do this, I think. Maybe get in touch with the folks working on the DX9 or DX11 clients and ask them about it?
