Problem IMFD guides

Hey I've been having a problem I cant solve. I'm trying to learn the IMFD, but the only good guides (guide for newbies) are out of date (Ive tried using them any way, but they don't work). I've even tried using the old IMFD but it wont work with the new orbiter 100% correctly.
I tried using transx but the same problem. I can't find an up to date guide for IMFD 5.5, any one know of a good one?

PS, the documents that come with IMFD 5.5 are not new pilot friendly at all.

IMFD full manual has enough information that still readily applies to the current version of the MFD and I recommend picking that up and reading it cover to cover, truly if you want to get a good grasp of the wonders that is IMFD. And then go over some of the tutorial flights and watch the playbacks. That is how I did it.

I used these in conjunction with AMSO to finally get a real working knowledge of just what IMFD can (and can't) do. There are a lot of "not intuitive" features in IMFD that, once you get the hang of them, really expand the power of this useful utility.

Edit:
I also find the writing style of Go play in space alot easier to digest than the manuals for other things. I can't quite put my finger on why. Most other manuals are written in a way that doesn't lend well to digestion by rookies.
