IMFD IMFD IPC

While I was reading the manual for the latest version of AMSO, I found out that there is some sort of IPC (Inter-Process-Communication) function that allows flight data that was programmed in the scenario get transferred to IMFD. Being a beginner with IMFD, I don't know how to access this feature. The page of the AMSO manual I am talking about is page 5, in the "Other Addons" section. Can someone help me with this?

I'll have to check the AMSO manual when I get home, but I'm pretty sure they were talking about one of a couple features. IMFD has the ability to communicate with other instances of IMFD (sharing data), so that you can have , for instance, Target Intercept set up in one MFD, and have IMFD's Map showing the hypothetical trajectory in another MFD.

Also, AMSO comes with a bunch of scenarios - and some of them have IMFD already set up for you. This isn't just AMSO - anytime you ave a scenario that had IMFD being shown in at least one MFD then IMFD will save all it's data and still be "set up" when you re-start the scenario.


These are the only things I can think of, but I'll check the AMSO manual later and get back to you if I find anything new.
