I found a bug (IMO) in IMFD 5.x returning to Earth from Neptune.
Orbiter version: 2006/2010
IMFD version: at least 5.3, 5.5
Steps to reproduce
- Select Course->Target Intercept
- Set Earth as target and Neptune as source
- Set TEj to MJD 59432.6 and TIn to MJD= 63263.7
You'll see the blue line jumping all around; IMFD seems unable to find the right path, but only in 5.x versions, IMFD 4.2.1 doesn't show this behaviour.
Maybe Jarmonik wants to fix that.
Attached a screen capture. The left MFD is the target intercept program in the oldie IMFD 4.2.1; the other MFD is IMFD 5.3 with the same inputs.
