Project [In finalisation]Solar modules P3/P4/P5/P6 from ISS

Around 8000-9000. Each of the 4 solar panels have 82 foils, so 328 foils in total, it's one of the reason of the high number of poly

For exemple My Soyuz model has 22000 poly and Baikonour base 26000.

Briliant!
This solar panel looks awesome! As for the C++ coding, perhaps Kulch can help you. He made solar panels for the Mir-2 that follow the sun.

When are these going to be released?

I said that the 3d model will be finish for mid jully. After RussH must work about the c++ code for anim. So no date for release because i don'ty know how many time he will spend for this.
Rememeber that the anim is very hard, and all the accordion part of solar array during deploy is difficult to anim

I am looking forward to working on this project with Mustard. The animations will not be an issue, but there are a lot of animations so this will take some time. The module will list in the scenario editor and you will be able to load as many as you need. I am working on a dll module with out the model for now, so I will be ready to drop the model into the module as soon as I get it.

I am working on a nice 2D panel for this project.

Release in Mid July?

After looking at the excellent quallity of this stuff, I wonder about one thing: Where do you guys find your textures? Most time I invest for the texturing process is looking for some decent material I can use as a source, with mostly insatisfactory outcome.

(Thanks a lot for these solar panel textures a bit earlier on, btw.)

How will the Solar Pannel's Deploy? Both at the same time, or one at a time like they really do? And will there be a Docking Port on the bottom and top of it?

the deployment will be like the real module P4. for docking yes 2 doking point will be do up and down), and i will work about P5 and eventually P6 (similar to P4)

Awesome! Any idea of a possible release date?

The 3d model will be finish next week but it's impossible to estimate a release date for the DLL (c++ code) because there lots of animations.

Nice! Hey, If you need someone to test it out, Im your Guy! :)

Also, question, can this fit in the Space Shuttle Cargo bay? And can you use Scenario Editor to get this thing up, without crashing? Thats the last of my Questions,

Yes!! This particular truss was launched on the STS-115/12A mission in September 2006.

Not that one! The Orbiter Space Shuttle, you know, SSU.
If it was launched on a shuttle, it will be able to launch with SSU.
