I have been wanting to see an addon based on an proposed mission to perform multiple flybys of Jupiter's moon Io, with BrianJ's Atlas V being used alongside Multistage2015 to simulate the launch.

Should not be too difficult to add this payload to the Multistage 2015 launcher of your choice. Just a little work with the ini files.

Could have reasons.... The Io Orbiter is the earlier proposal for the same NASA program that now has the Io Volcano Observer. Its pretty much an evolution of the concept.

Even though the IVO has not been selected (not yet), I have a feeling that in the near future, either the Discovery or New Frontiers programs will select the IVO as its next mission.
