I have a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro that works fine in the regular version of Orbiter 2010-P1. I've configured all the buttons in the handle and on the base. Everything works in the "normal" version.
But once I start the OrbiterNG (server) version, all I can get to work is the throttle and the X, Y and Z axes of the joystick itself. The buttons won't work.

My apologies if this has already been answered. I tried looking in all the forums and in the Orbiter Manual, but can't seem to find a solution. Any help would be appreciated, even if it's to point me to the correct thread.

What are you using to configure the buttons in the base? I have the same joystick and I use Joy2Key to map the buttons to keypresses. It works fine for me for both orbiter.exe and orbiter_ng.exe.

EDIT:
Looks like a new version is available here and it's now shareware instead of freeware. I'm still using the 3.7.4 version, though.

I've used the Logitech configuration utility to assign commands to the joystick buttons. I'm not familiar enough with Joy2Key to know how to do it, but will start reading.

I just tried this utility but it doesn't allow me to configure the deadzone of the sticks on my game controller. This makes it slightly less useful than Orbiter's built in joystick support.
