I was out this evening, the sky was clear and the Moon almost blinding. I noticed a bright yellow point near it, checked in Orbiter setting the camera on my town and found this thread .
Jupiter was very bright. Orbiter (or D3D9) is a bit unrealistic showing the satellites from such a distance, though :
It still amazes me how Orbiter can be used as a super-planetarium, though
I was able to shoot this (rather unclear) picture of Jupiter and most of its moons a few weeks ago.
Sorry for the blurryness, it is a Canon 350 camera with a 75-250mm lens.
