After making several Shuttle launches with ISS 4.5 I found the air waves eerily quite compared to the radio chatter of AMSO. I here maybe 4 or 5 radio messages between ground and the Shuttle compared to 15 or 20 in AMSO. The prelaunch is dead quite, is there any add-ons to solve this issue? I can't believe they didn't have more to communicate over.

I don't know of any addons that increase the amount of radio chatter in the Orbiter Sound addon (which I'm assuming you are using).

What you can do yourself is to store your own sounds in the
Code:
<Orbiter 2010 root directoy>\Sound\Radio
directory

There should be a text file called "More_Atc_help" in this very directory with instructions on how to add the sounds so that they are playable in Orbiter.

Communications from Ground->Space are usually very quiet and only for essential information.

Try searching OrbitHanger for "ATC CHATTER"
Install, and then alter the amount of chatter you get in SoundConfig/Atc radio chatter settings

Not looking for random chatter, but more historical content. I am mainly referring to the prelaunch. I found script to the Challenger's last 73 seconds (very sad) and there is quite some chatter between ground and Shuttle during pre launch, not like Apollo 11 but more than nothing at all. I see in other forums people are asking for the same thing for other reasons, seems NASA does not make the recordings public. I might just be Google challenged.
